Five Beauty Tips For Skin Using Lemon Juice

I like the sour taste of lemon in fresh lemonade, and when the lemon tree in my backyard began to show promise of future lemons, thought it was time to figure out what to do with all the lemons. I started doing a little research and discovered some interesting facts about pleasantly lemon juice in my lemonade. Many uses helps maintain a healthy body and skin.

I found that lemon juice is a juice-based acid fruit lemon, however, once digested, lemon juice becomes alkaline base. Alkaline helps keep blood in a safe pH level, which helps the body to heal itself.

Lemon juice has a high level of vitamin C, which helps strengthen the immune system. Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells against free radical damage. Free radicals damage the skin and antioxidants help prevent against free radical damage.

Lemon juice also helps your body to cleanse itself and prevents water retention. Purifies the blood and rejuvenates your skin from within, putting that natural glow that we all seek to see in our skin.

Here are five ways to use lemon juice as part of their regular beauty routine.

1. Lighten your elbows and knees.

Cut a lemon in half and sprinkle sugar on top. Scrub to exfoliate using a circular to the elbows and knees movement. Let it sit on your skin for about one minute. Then rinse in the shower. It takes about a month to see significant results. I have not tried it with sugar yet. But I like the idea of exfoliate with lightening. Try it! You can do this on a daily basis.

2 Lighten your age spots.

Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice with 2 tablespoons honey and 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt. Rub this mixture on your age spots. You can do this on a daily basis.

3. Moisturize your hands dry.

Mix 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with 1 tablespoon honey and 1 cup of dry oatmeal. Form a paste with these ingredients. Apply this paste to clean hands. Wear cotton gloves. Keep the gloves for at least 20 minutes. Rinse well. Dry hands and apply hand cream.

4. Lighten your hair.

To lighten your hair a few shades, mix 1 cup of lemon juice with ¼ cup warm water. Place this mixture in a spray bottle and spray on hair clean and dry. Sprinkle the lemon and water solution until the hair is wet. Now, go outside and sit in the sun for about 30 minutes. Rinse and apply a rich conditioner. Follow the instructions conditioner. Do this once a week. Each time, your hair will light a little more, but ultimately, only a few nuances of the original light shade. Since this is a lighter 'natural' hair, there is no guarantee what tone of your hair will become once the lemon and water solution applied. While the sun, keep checking the color to avoid getting a color that suits you. I do not recommend this type of lighting capillary technique for brunettes. Your hair may have a tendency to turn a burnt orange tone. More power to you if that is the shade you want.

5. Clean your body.

To help bones stay healthy, radiant skin, clear digestion, fight diabetes and cancer, and lose weight, drinking lemon water every morning. Squeeze half a lemon in eight ounces of water. To protect your tooth enamel, lemon cleanse drink water through a straw. Drink this every morning.
